Relocate Northside Drive to intersect with Ashley Phosphate Road across from Spa Road.
The Palmetto Commerce Interchange project is being designed to reduce travel times and improve access options, increase traffic mobility in the I-26/Ashley Phosphate Road area and provide more efficient commute options.
The PCP3 Project will provide the last segment in a new connector parkway from Ladson Road to Aviation Ave near I-26, and the Joint Base Charleston.

This project includes improvements to intersections along Main Road, including US 17, River Road/Chisolm Road, and Maybank Highway, as well as widening segments from Bees Ferry to Betsy Kerrison.
We are working with the BCDCOG to complete a traffic analysis of US 78 for the improvements project & the Lowcountry Rapid Transit (LCRT) project. This analysis will allow us to identify areas of traffic congestion & analyze potential solutions from US 52 to County Line in conjunction with the LCRT project.
